CEA to Host First 30 PARA Registrants
CEA announced Wednesday that they would host the first 30 registrants to its 2007 PARA Conference, March 7-9 at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Fla., providing free conference registration and three nights in the hotel. With this offer, CEA hopes to encourage early registration for the event, targeted at audio-video dealers and installers. The conference, located next to Electronic House Expo Spring, is designed for existing PARA dealers and non-PARA dealers and installers alike. Registration for non-PARA dealers comes with a free year’s membership in CEA.
The conference will open with a keynote from Dr. Jeff DeGraff from the University of Michigan Center for Leadership, Change and Innovation, and will continue with the former president CEO of Porsche AG, Peter W. Schutz. The conference will also include interactive sessions on business management.
PARA Executive Director Kerry Moyer elaborated on the incentive, “In addition to hosting the first 30 PARA dealer principals to register, CEA is challenging vendors to support PARA and drive conference attendance and participation in PARA by matching CEA and hosting at least 30 additional dealers. By supporting PARA and the specialty channel, everybody does more business and the whole industry wins.”
