CEA Launches Pre-CES “i-Stage” Contest
The Consumer Electronics Association has launched a contest for aspiring gadget purveyors, with the winner getting no less than an exhibit at next January’s International CES in Las Vegas.
The free contest, called i-Stage, invites gadget makers and promoters to introduce their new products, with the only criteria being that they actually exist in physical form, and are new/original. The deadline is Aug. 1, and finalists will be invited to present their creations Oct. 20 at the Four Seasons Las Vegas, where a winner will be declared.
That winner will receive a major exhibit at CES, as well as $50,000 to develop a product line.
