CEA Spent $1.5 Million on Lobbyists Last Year
The Consumer Electronics Association spent $1.5 million on lobbying in 2007, mostly in regards to legislation concerning the digital television transition, energy efficiency, e-recycling, and trade.
The Associated Press reported on the amount spent by the industry group, citing government disclosures. The lobbying was of Congress, as well as the FCC and other government agencies.
