CEDIA has added four new members to its Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 term. The new elected directors include Melanie Malcom, who was elected to fill the open EMEA position, and Jamie Briesemeister, Bill Skaer, and Amanda Wildman who were chosen to fill positions across the rest of the world.
"The collection of skills and experiences our board leadership brings to bear is exceptional and the four elected directors will answer the call," said CEDIA Global President and CEO Tabatha O'Connor. "As the industry, organization, and needs of membership continue to evolve, we’re excited to have a board of directors that can respond and take action that moves us to the next level."
Melanie Malcom is the co-founder and co-owner of Leeds, Yorkshire, UK-based Bespoke Home Cinemas where she directs two events: Yorkshire Ladies Links and Yorkshire Choice Awards. Malcom joined the CEDIA EMEA Board in 2016 and played a part in CEDIA’s global alignment process. She will close out her current term at the end of the year before stepping into her elected director term.
