CEDIA Announces TECH X DESIGN Event Series
CEDIA, the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association, is proud to announce TECH X DESIGN – a cross-industry CEU (continuing education unit) event series set to debut this fall. With a goal of fostering relationships between CEDIA technology integrators and design/construction professionals, TECH X DESIGN will feature three CEU-approved educational opportunities on connected living spaces and the future of homes. Additionally, the events will include a complimentary luncheon and cocktail networking hour.
The inaugural event will be hosted at the Butcher Shop Beer Garden & Grill in West Palm Beach, Fla. on Tuesday, Aug. 20th from 11:30-3:30 p.m. Hosts Giles Sutton and Jason Sayen will take attendees through three specific courses centered on hidden technology, sustainability, and whole-home automation infrastructures.
“CEDIA is excited to launch the TECH X DESIGN event series which will be multifunctional in its reach across a number of industries,” says Giles Sutton, executive vice president of industry engagement at CEDIA. “Not only will those in the design and build sectors come away with an introduction on connected living, but our member base within each target market will make professional connections that will be mutually beneficial for designers and integrators alike. CEDIA is ready for these two industries to intermingle so we can all support the needs of the modern home owner.”
