CEDIA Expo opens on a Denver high
The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) cut the ribbon today on what organization officials said would be its best-attended Expo ever, when all figures are ultimately tallied.
CEDIA president Andy Willcox told a first-day keynoter breakfast audience that the show’s inaugural appearance at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver spanned a floor area 20 percent larger than last year’s Indianapolis-held show, and that attendance would likely approach a record 30,000.
Willcox enumerated the group’s efforts in the past year to “engage everyone” in the custom industry. “This show is about networking,” he said, “and about the future.
