CEDIA Looking for New CEO
The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) announced Thursday that it has launched a search for a new chief executive. The search coincides with the announcement that CEDIA will now be self-managed, after previously being managed by Raybourn Group International.
To fill the newly created position, CEDIA is searching for “a qualified member of the electronic systems industry who is already familiar with the current issues and trends of the market.”
Don Gilpin will continue in his present role as executive director, as will the rest of the group’s previous staff. The decision to name a CEO was made by CEDIA’s board of directors, due to the organization’s growth, CEDIA said.
