CES 2019: Hisense Bows Next-Gen Laser TV, Shows ULED XD Technology
The 120-inch 100L7T 4K RGB TriChroma laser TV was among the introductions by Hisense at the 2019 CES. It features a built-in TV tuner and the company’s proprietary X-Fusion Laser Light Engine combining three independent lasers. The system is being released with built-in 100-watt Harman/Kardon audio and an ambient light rejection screen. It projects a 3,500-lumen picture, and offers response time of 32 microseconds to refresh 8.3 million pixels. It uses a TI DLP chip and also includes Alexa-enabled voice assistant technology.
The company’s Xiaohang (Shawn) Ma, VP of Hisense Electronic Information Group, says the system is rated for 25,000 hours’ use, and that the picture quality is “better than OLED displays.”
