iPad Closing in On Kindle
Amazon's Kindle remains the most popular Ebook reader, but Apple's iPad is beginning to close the gap, as the two giants continue to crowd out all other competitors.
That's the conclusion of a study released Tuesday by ChangeWave, which found that of Ebook owners, 47 percent own the Kindle while 32 percent own the iPad. Third place was the Sony Reader (5 percent) and the Barnes and Noble Nook (4 percent.)
The 47-32 gap has narrowed from the 62/16 spread reported by ChangeWave in August.
