Best Buy Armed Robbery in Indiana
Two suspects pulled a gun on a Best Buy clerk in Carmel, Ind., and robbed the store of cash. According to local TV station Fox59, the suspects pretended to be purchase a cell phone and pulled the gun after the clerk had already opened the cash register. Police say the same suspects may be responsible for other robberies in the area.
Second St. Louis Cop in Trouble For Electronics Theft
A St. Louis police officer has plead guilty to stealing electronics equipment from a police car as part of a sting operation, following an accomplice who had already done so. According to KMOX, the two officers had stolen the electronics that they believe had been stolen from Best Buy by a criminal, but the woman in question was actually an informant working for the FBI. The two officers, who split up the products, will be sentenced in March; each faces 10 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000.
