Walmart Names CFO
Walmart announced Wednesday that Charles Holley, a longtime company insider, will take over later this year as chief financial officer, replacing Tom Schoewe, who will retire.
The 54-year-old Holley is a 16-year veteran of the company who more recently was Walmart's treasurer. He will take over as CFO Nov. 30.
"Charles has great experience both inside Walmart and externally," CEO Mike Duke said in a statement. "He is a talented strategist who also thoroughly understands the details of our business and the financial markets. As treasurer, he has helped drive the strategy behind the company's strong financial position and has made every organization he has led stronger.
