One of China’s top five TV brands announced that it’ll be making its way to the North American market this upcoming spring. The Konka Group has established itself as a leading digital home entertainment manufacturer over the course of its 35-year history. The company holds over 5,000 TV patents and sells products in over 100 countries worldwide. For the US and Canada, Konka will initially debut its “market right” TV sets followed by the Smart Home series.
To ensure a smooth transition, Konka has created an experienced executive team to head up the new market. Scott Ramirez will act as senior vice president of sales and marketing, Bruce Fairchild will be the vice president of product marketing and sales operations, and Paul Norton will serve as the company’s vice president of sales. Ramirez will oversee Konka’s brand strategy, business planning, product planning, channel marketing, and brand marketing; Fairchild will be responsible for channel marketing and sales-related operation functions; and Norton will oversee all sales in the US and Canada.
“I am honored and excited to help launch the Konka brand in North America,” says Ramirez. “Konka has amazing people, incredible products and extensive manufacturing power. We will offer consumers a wide range of unique products with an unsurpassed combination of quality, technology and high value. Plus, we have a clear long-term vision, and will create true business partnerships for mutual growth and success.”
Konka’s lineup of TVs will be on display during CES in Las Vegas next month at booth #10053. Visitors will be able to catch a glimpse of Konk’a Micro LED technology as well as other technologies like Mini LED, OLED, 8K, Quantum Dot, and 5G. Konka will also be showing off a new set of 4K Ultra HD and Smart Products headed for North America in just a few months.
