Circuit City Announces Wii Restock
Circuit City, in a weekend circular, announced a restock of the popular Nintendo Wii gaming console, the Web site Punchjump.com reported. It is unknown exactly how many new Wiis are being made available.
The Wii has been the most popular console in the U.S. for over a year, but has suffered major shortages, especially during the holiday season. According to the Web site ITWire.com, sales of the Wii outpaced those of Sony’s PlayStation 3 in January by a 3-1 margin, thanks mostly to the release of the “Wii Fit” game in Japan. That game will arrive in the U.S. this spring.
