Circuit City Launches Campaign
Circuit City this weekend began airing a television advertising campaign touting its new “One Price Promise” strategy.
In the first ad, titled “Mixed Signals,” a young woman is seated at a restaurant booth along with a digital camera, which has been enlarged to human size and given a speaking voice. The woman tells the camera she really likes him but “has been getting mixed signals,” because his price is different in stores than on the Web site and in newspaper circulars.
“Is that a deal-breaker?,” the camera asks. The woman responds by introducing him to another, identical camera.
