Circuit City reiterated Thursday that their firedog service is available online 365/24/7, stressing that this includes Christmas morning. The tech support service, available at www.firedog.com, also allows customers to set up online training sessions for MP3 players or digital cameras regardless of where they were purchased. Online services, which start at $39.99, also include wireless network setup. Help is also available over the phone.
Marc J. Sieger, senior vice president and general merchandise manager for services at Circuit City Stores, Inc., says, “We know how important it is to be able to help people when they need it. That’s why we offer an easy and convenient way to access tech support online at any time in addition to the firedog(SM) services we provide in homes and at Circuit City stores.”
In addition, from December 26 through December 30, Circuit City’s “MP3 Made Simple” course will return, offering customers the chance to learn more about how to download music, rip CDs and operate MP3 players such as the Zune or iPod, regardless of where the items were purchased.
