Circuit City Shares Hit Low
Shares of Circuit City’s stock on Thursday hit a roughly 20-year low, sinking as low as $1.51 a share, the Associated Press reported. An analyst quoted by the wire service blamed the drop on the company’s “pretty terrible run,” while it is “struggling in many facets of the business.”
The company’s stock, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, last traded that low in December of 1987. It was trading at $11.44 a share this time last year.
