Pure Digital Chief Leaving Cisco
Cisco's consumer head, who was CEO of Flip Video maker Pure Digital when the company bought it, is leaving the company.
According to a post on Cisco's company blog, Jonathan Kaplan is leaving the company "to pursue other career opportunities." Marthin De Beer, who oversees the Telepresence and Emerging Technologies group, will add the consumer division to his portfolio.
Consumer division revenues dropped 15 percent in the last quarter, the company announced in its quarterly earnings this week.
