Comcast, hhgregg Announce Retail Partnership
Electronics retailer hhgregg and cable giant Comcast this week announced an agreement in which many of the retailer’s stores will offer Comcast products and services to those purchasing high-definition TVs and other products. In addition, more than half of hhgregg stores nationwide will feature a Comcast display, so that customers are exposed to the company’s services.
Comcast has similar agreements with Best Buy, Circuit City, RadioShack and other retailers.
“Our goal is to work with hhgregg to help customers experience instant gratification knowing they’ll be live with Comcast when they set up their new electronic equipment at home,” Comcast’s senior vice president for retail sales and alternative sales, Bob Faught, said as part of the announcement.
