Comcast Makes Moves in the Connected Home with Icontrol Acquisition
- Comcast has acquired IoT security firm Icontrol Networks
- Icontrol helped launch Xfinity Home in 2010
- Move positions Comcast to be a major player in connected home security
The Xfinity Home brand could very soon have an entirely different look and feel. It’ll likely have a more connected home-y feel, if you will.
