I’m very happy to say that our upcoming June issue of Dealerscope will contain our fifth annual 40 Under 40 feature. Five years ago we came up with the idea of highlighting the best and brightest people in our industry under the age of 40. We look for individuals from all parts of the industry—retail, distribution, buying groups, manufacturing, technology developers, etc. This feature was conceived because we noticed that we were often hearing the viewpoints and opinions of our esteemed industry veterans, but rarely did we hear the voices of those faces that make up the future of the industry.
I’m proud to say that each year has been a success, and many of the personalities that we have covered since 2002 are still well known and respected individuals in our industry today. And many have become trusted resources from which to draw further insight. But there’s always room for improvement.
