Commerce Secretary To Speak at Washington Forum
The cabinet will be represented at next month’s CEA Washington Forum, as the industry group announced this week that the sitting U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Carlos M. Gutierrez, will deliver an opening keynote address at the event.
Gutierrez’s speech is set to take place at 10 a.m. on April 2, the event’s first full day.
“Secretary Gutierrez has been instrumental in expanding international markets for U.S. companies to innovate and compete on a global level. His phenomenal dedication to increasing international trade has enabled consumers around the world to purchase the technology products they desire,” CEA’s President and CEO, Gary Shapiro, said as the part the announcement.
