Como Audio Intros Embrace Vinyl, Two-Channel Stereo Sound
Como Audio is melding the convenience of streaming music and voice activation with some new products it is launching initially through crowdfunding marketing strategies that Tom DeVesto, company founder and CEO, has employed since he started the company three years ago – a decision that has helped to build what DeVesto terms as a “social community” around Como Audio products.
Como Audio’s SpeakEasy voice-activated smart speaker with built-in Google Assistant, launched last year, is now available in a two-channel stereo system configuration, and can be used for multiroom playback via Chromecast Audio with other components. Also new is the company’s first streaming turntable.
The SpeakEasy voice activated stereo system consists of the original SpeakEasy and a dedicated SpeakEasy speaker that connects to it via a 15-foot audio cable to create a stereo soundstage, powered by SpeakEasy’s two-channel amplifier. The SpeakEasy speaker also boasts a tuned bass port and a built-in Lithium-Ion battery that plays for about eight hours on a full charge.
