Comper Launches SkinEnergy Smart Skin Care Device
Lifestyle brand Comper has launched a campaign for its latest product, SkinEnergy.
SkinEnergy is a smart skincare device that allows users to better understand their skin and to provide treatment support through video and audio guidance. Non-invasive, Comper SkinEnergy is said to aid in personalizing users’ skincare routines and treatment options based on the user’s needs. SkinEnergy provides feedback to users so that they can track the differences that tweaks to their lifestyle habits and exercise regime are making to their skin. This lightweight, hand-held device uses MENS, red LED, massage, and heat to improve skin in just five minutes a day. The virtual on-app consultation sets up and takes the user through a daily routine.
MENS (microcurrent treatments) technology mimics the gentle, hardly perceptible pulses of the body's natural bio-electric currents to heal and tone both large and small muscles, for what the company terms as a non-surgical facelift. Red and near-infrared LED wavelengths promote the following: adenosine triphosphate (ATP) nitric oxide release; blood flow; reactive oxygen species increase; and stem-cell tissue repair and healing. This supports the treatment of wrinkles, acne scars and UV healing, the company says. The massage effect is said to increase rates of decorin, fibrillin, tropoelastin, and procollagen-1 expression, which kickstarts the anti-aging response. Heat stimulates collagen and elastin production, gradually improving skin tone and texture.
The Comper app connects to the SkinEnergy device and determines skin type, suggesting a treatment schedule. Users can opt for a pre-programmed routine or can tailor their treatment. The app will also track progress. The device’s pre-production period is under way currently, says the company.
“This is an exciting time for Comper. We could all use a little self-love in the second half of 2020. We’re delighted to introduce our SkinEnergy to the men and women of the world and help them to work their way towards a glowing complexion that shows just how healthy they are on the inside. You can tailor the process to suit your needs, or call on our virtual dermatologists’ advice,” said Du Han, founder of Comper.
