CompUSA to Target Small to Medium-Sized Business Market
Over two months after closing more than half of its stores, CompUSA announced Tuesday a move toward refocusing its efforts on three key demographics, which they identified in a release as “tech enthusiasts, educated professionals and small and medium businesses.”
In order to attract more business consumers, the store plans to stock more trade-specific fare, including commercial grade laser printers, dot matrix printers and POS products. In addition, CompUSA will designate a dedicated section of their stores for small and medium-sized businesses. They will also offer free, in-store seminars and educational events for small business owners and their employees.
The store also plans to offer advanced technical training and certification programs to its own employees.
