ComScore: Android Widens Lead; Samsung Still Top OEM
According to ComScore market share numbers released Friday, Android's share of the domestic smartphone subscriber base has reached 46.3 percent, with Apple's share rising as well.
Android's share rose 4.4 percent over July, while Apple's share rose a percentage point to 28.1 percent. BlackBerry's share dropped 4.5 percent.
The manufacturer rankings stayed the same, with Samsung maintaining its 25.5 percent first-place figure, LG coming in second, Motorola third and Apple fourth.
