Congressman Wants Answers On Kindle Fire Security Issues
Rep. Ed Markey [D-Mass.] shared his concerns in a letter to Amazon Friday about the security of the Kindle Fire.
Markey wants Amazon to reveal more information about the kind of data they collect from users and how it's used. He also posed several other queries to Amazon, including if the information collected will be sold to third parties.
Amazon's new browser, Silk, essentially tracks every move its user makes on the Web, which allows Amazon to see what users are browsing for, where they browse for it, and how much they pay for items.
