Congressmen to Appear on CES Panel
The upcoming International CES will feature the presence of several elected officials, who will appear on a panel on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
The “Congress Talks Tech Policy” panel, moderated by noted journalist and former CNN host Tucker Carlson, will feature four sitting members of Congress: Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Rep. Lee Terry (R-Neb.), Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.), Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Rep. John Shimkus (R-Ill). It is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday in North Hall Room N264.
Other government officials appearing at CES will include Commerce Department official Ari Schwartz, FCC Commissioners Mignon Clyburn and Robert McDowell and FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, who will conduct his customary one-on-one with CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro on Jan. 11.
