New Partnerships Drive Connectivity
Last year, Control4 cemented partnerships with some of the industry’s leading specialty retailers. This year, the company will increase its focus on new partnerships with manufacturers.
Evidence of that effort was on display at Control4’s booth at CES, where the amount of players in its partner pavilion doubled over last year. Retailers will continue to see that trend play out in the home connectivity market as more third parties partner with core platform companies to create full connectivity and automation solutions in the home.
“We want to be the platform for the home. We’ll do that by providing retailers with the right products they need,” which means partnering with other vendors where the play makes sense, said Will West, CEO of Control4, a manufacturer of IP-based control and entertainment systems. “What you’re seeing here is that vision coming to life.”
