Crestron ships wireless battery-powered photosensor
Crestron is shipping a wireless, battery-powered photosensor. The dual-loop GLS-LDL-EX-BATT senses indoor light and provides indoor light control for money-saving daylight harvesting applications to reduce energy consumption.
The sensor features two internal photocells: one for open-loop daylight sensing and one for closed-loop ambient light sensing. It monitors natural daylight from windows to automatically adjust shades and lighting. The idea is to use as much natural light as possible while cutting down on use of artificial light.
