Crosley, GE Appliances Enter Into Private-Label Agreement
Known first as an innovator in the radio communications business, the Crosley Corporation has also dipped its toes in the home appliances market for the better part of the last century. And, as it looks to grow that business for years to come, Crosley and GE Appliances—a Haier company—announced that they’ve entered into a private-label business agreement. As part of the agreement, GE Appliances will manufacture private-label refrigerators, upright freezers, chest freezers, dishwashers, gas and electric ranges, and front-load laundry machines for Crosley.
The agreement applies to kitchen and laundry products under the Crosley Professional, Crosley, and Conservator brands.
“We are very excited about this new partnership with GE Appliances,” Chris Harris, president and chief executive officer for Crosley Corporation, said in a statement. “The Crosley brand and our customers will benefit immensely from GE Appliances’ world-class products, service and innovation.”
