CTA Holds First Summit with Medical Community
Leaders in the consumer technology and medical communities convened today at the Consumer Technology Association's first-ever CTA Medical Advisory Summit "to chart a collaborative path forward," said the organization. The event featured panels and discussions among the CTA Health and Fitness Technology Division Board and the medical and scientific communities.
Speakers from United Healthcare, Mayo Clinic, NIH, Stanford University School of Medicine, Savvysherpa and more were on hand. Topics broached included the value of health and fitness technology data for precision medicine and population health, the role of consumer tech in chronic care management and translating the science behind consumer health and fitness tech.
The meetings were held in conjunction with CTA's Technology and Standards Spring Forum.
