There will be much more to come in terms of our Black Friday/Cyber Monday wrap up coverage, but we wanted to drop you a few nuggets as we continue to dig out of the data ourselves.
On Sunday, the Consumer Technology Association hosted a call to report their survey findings from the weekend, which included retailer and consumer insights around the Black Friday holiday shopping weekend—i.e. pre-Thanksgiving deals that started Wednesday night, through the end of the day on Small Business Saturday. As CTA Chief Economist Shawn DuBravac, Ph.D., put it, the call took place during the lull in the holiday shopping weekend. Sunday, the only non-branded day during the weekend, serves as an opportunity for retailers and consumers to get their rest in and gear up for Cyber Monday sales.
On to their findings, though.
