Cyber Monday 2016 Will Set Single-Day Online Retail Records
So, how’s your website looking this morning?
While retailers (yourself likely included) are busy digging out of the rubble left behind in their stores from the Black Friday holiday shopping weekend, they’re busy making sure their websites don’t succumb to the pressures of Cyber Monday.
The momentum heading into the one-day online shopping event is stronger than ever, with some 135 million U.S. adults having shopped over the course of the past four days, according to data from the Consumer Technology Association. Another 122.1 million are expected to continue scouring the web for deals on Monday, according to a new report from the National Retail Federation—that’s up slightly less than 1 percent from the 121.3 million last year.
