Cyber Monday Traffic Jumps 37 Percent
The third Cyber Monday, it appears the next day, was the biggest one yet. According to USA Today, citing Akamai Technologies figures, Web traffic on Cyber Monday for participating retailers jumped 37 percent from last year- and the National Retail Federation said that Web traffic on CyberMonday.com jumped threefold over last year.
Precise sales figures were not available as of Tuesday morning.
In addition, 70 percent of retailers surveyed by BizRate Research reported participating in Cyber Monday, up from 43 percent in 2006.
