D&M Plans 70 New Products
D&M Holdings said Friday that it plans to introduce 70 new products in the next six months across its brands, including Boston Acoustics, Denon and Marantz.
The launches will include incursions into such product categories as headphones and dock speakers, as well as the products for which the brands are previously known.
“D&M is tripling our brand and product marketing investment in 2012, and the result is an unprecedented launch of more than 70 new products," Brian Poggi, D&M's president of sales and marketing, said as part of the announcement. "Our goal is to transform how our brands are perceived in the marketplace, as well as generate a new level of positive brand awareness to motivate customers and encourage sales.
