DBL Distributing, Inc. announced a deal Monday to distribute products from Norazza, Inc., including the accessory company’s Ape Case brand of digital camera carrying cases. DBL will also offer Norazza’s Screen 2 Go brand of lightweight screens and screen cases. Henry Chiarelli, senior vice president of marketing and merchandising for DBL Distributing, said “The additions of Norazza’s unique Ape Case and Screen 2 Go brands each allow us to maintain our leading position in the consumer electronics accessory marketplace, specifically among the photo/video and home theater segments.” The new Norazza offerings will be featured in DBL’s fall catalog.
In other DBL news, the distributor has agreed to act as a national account representative for Trekstor GmbH, a company specializing in USB storage devices and portable media players with a proven European track record. In addition to representing major online accounts for the company, DBL will also act as a regional supplier to U.S. retailers and resellers. Said Hana Arad, the president of Trekstor’s U.S. marketer, Data Station, “DBL’s reach and reputation will have a significant impact in bringing the TrekStor name and products to the attention of millions of American buyers.”
