DBL’s Lorsch Steps Down
DBL Distributing’s founder and longtime CEO, David Lorsch, announced in an e-mail to colleagues Thursday that he is stepping down from the company, effective Dec. 1, after 18 years with the company.
Following the acquisition of the company by Ingram Micro earlier this year, Lorsch had originally been expected to stay on through next June.
“The decision to leave DBL is a very difficult decision but it is time for DBL to move on without David Lorsch and for David Lorsch to move on without DBL,” he wrote in the e-mail. He continued by thanking those he worked with for their “loyalty, friendships and business partnerships.”
