DisplaySearch reports that while 3D TVs are selling slowly right now, dealers should be very optimistic about the future.
Two of the biggest issues for consumers, high prices and lack of content, are set to be answered. Even as the technology in 3D TVs continues to improve, prices will begin to drop, and more 3D content continues to be made available.
DisplaySearch forecasts that 3.2 million 3D TVs will be shipped in 2010. By 2014, 3D TV would become mainstream with over 90 million shipments. This would mean that 3D would grow from 2% of all flat panel TVs shipped to 41% in 2014.
