Accomplishments: Being a part of a team that was so agile and quick to find a way to keep independent retailers in business during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place mandates across the nation. It was a very uncertain time for many in our industry and our team worked around the clock get our retailers’ websites integrated with chat solutions and updated with adjusted marketing messaging. We optimized digital marketing campaign tactics to drive calls and website traffic instead of foot traffic and – most importantly – we got our retailers transactional online so they could stay profitably in business. I couldn’t be more proud to lead and be a part of this team that worked tirelessly around the clock those first few weeks. Seeing their determination, grit and willpower to do what is right for our members was a moment of such pride for me. Their representation of the team and AVB Marketing is something I am honored to be a part of.
