CT Lab’s leading publication, Dealerscope, has just announced the winners of the first-ever IMPACT! Awards—a program designed to recognize products in the consumer electronics industry that are innovative, help drive sales on the show floor, and drive consumers into stores.
“Recognizing manufacturers for their innovative products is one thing, but what the IMPACT! Awards do is give us the opportunity to bring attention to those products that are both unique and easy to sell for consumer electronics retailers,” said Dealerscope editor Rob Stott. “And it’s not just our picks as editors. These awards are basically handed out by the very people manufacturers rely on to sell their products.”
Dealerscope asked everyone in the industry—manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and even consumers—to have a say in voting for the products that they believed deserved to be recognized. In order to qualify, the nominations had to represent an individual product and emphasize innovation and enticing consumers to experience it in-person.
