"I was very fortunate at Assurant to have been able to move around in many facets. The greatest things I learned in becoming successful in business development is having a grounded understanding of operations, service and the customer experience. The key is understanding the service aspect. If you don't take care of customer or what you've promised, you lose credibility and the organization suffers.

Proudest Achievements: Managing Circuit City's warranty business, making accidental damage part of their service contract law in all 50 states. Led initiative for Circuit City to be a leading provider for that kind of coverage nationwide. Providing other options in insurance service and warranty functions. Launching direct-to-consumer website in November, which provides consumers the ability to purchase an extended warranty service plan regardless of where their product was purchased.
