Manufacturers and retailers can only do so much to help ensure that a product sold online gets shipped successfully and efficiently to the end user without so much as a scratch or dink on the product itself. Of course, packaging is key—the product itself should be wrapped and packaged in a way that prevents damage once the thing is loaded onto a truck operated by one of the various shipping services available out there. But sometimes event the best-packaged items are subject to extremely volatile, hostile, and downright unruly package handlers.
