Dell Launches New Ad Campaign
There’s a new slogan, new music, and “Dude, you’re getting a Dell” guy is nowhere to be found. In conjunction with a new product line and the return of founder Michael Dell, the company is looking to recreate its image, and has introduced a series of new commercials.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the new ads trumpet Dell’s new line of multi-colored laptops, as well as its new focus on serving the consumer market, though its deals with Wal*Mart and other retailers. The ads also use a bright color scheme and hip music, from the likes of the band Flaming Lips.
The ad firm Mother produced the campaign, called “Yours is Here,” the Journal said.
