Denon to Showcase Product Lines
Denon, in the spirit of the latest custom industry trend, is ‘retrofitting’ its CEDIA Expo booth with a 25-seat theater it had used in earlier shows.
Senior vice president of sales and marketing Joe Stinziano said the theater is being re-introduced into the booth layout this year to expose attendees to the “highest-quality presentation possible” of the brand’s high-end separates and to highlight the high-end audio attributes of Denon’s current Blu-ray Disc player.
“We want to show our commitment to the custom installation channel,” he said, adding that Denon was being especially responsive in its category introductions across the board to CI focus groups. “They had told us they want tuner flexibility and a high-end video processor from a familiar brand name, and with Denon quality.” The company answered in kind with three main products – a video processor, a 12-channel amplifier and a multi-card tuner – for which Denon’s Jeff Talmadge will conduct setup tutorials outside the booth’s theater.
