With its 2018 Technology Conference: Mid-Atlantic Fall Show happening later this week, D&H drummed up some excitement by announcing a new agreement with AirSelfie North America. The partnership between D&H and AirSelfie will bring the AirSelfie2 flying, selfie-taking drone to the D&H product lineup for distribution throughout its U.S. channel.
AirSelfie2, a product that was on display at our CE Week 2018 show in June and a recipient of a Best in Show award there, is an incredibly lightweight and pocket-sized drone that lets users get the aerial shots they’re looking for with their smartphone.
“We are very happy to start collaborating with one of the best players in this sector with a proven expertise earned through many years of strong experience. D&H and AirSelfie have a shared ability to predict and fulfil the needs of the consumer tech market,” Eileen Murphy, head of sales, AirSelfie North America, said in a statement. “We look forward to a strong partnership moving forward and continued success in selling AirSelfie’s devices. We are thrilled about the partnership with D&H, to diligently expand our customer base and make AirSelfie more widely accessible to retailers, providing consumers with all the novel features our company continues to develop.”
As a product that receives automatic updates from its developers, the AirSelfie2 promises to expand its feature set over the course of its life. That also means users can expect to continue to have the latest features without having to upgrade their airborne camera every year or so.
“We’re excited to add AirSelfie’s innovative pocket-size flying cameras to our line of imaging products,” said Trevor May, executive director, vendor management at D&H Distributing. “It gives our retailer and etailer community an intriguing offering to help differentiate their product assortment in this unique category.”
AirSelfie is expected to participate in this week’s Mid-Atlantic Fall show in Hershey, PA.
