D&H to Kick Off First Trade Event of the Season
D&H Distributing is set to touch down in City of Industry, California on March 28 to kick off its 2019 Tech Conference: West Coast event. The schedule for the one-day event is jam-packed with educational and face-to-face networking opportunities for resellers, dealers, retailers, and integrators.
The conference involves more than 60 participating manufacturer partners, and for the first time in its history, D&H has added a keynote speaker to the agenda. Intel’s Director of Partner Sales Programs, Todd Garrigues will be sharing his experience in the ever-changing realm and the role of the Intel partner community in helping solution providers develop strategic, sustainable partner offerings. NPD’s Mike Diamond will also be in attendance to serve as the “SME” market speaker to discuss the state of the IT channel and his general expertise on cyber security. Attendees can also expect to hear from Intel, Cisco, Aruba, Microsoft, and HP about topics ranging from SMB cloud solutions, cyber security, and the Microsoft Windows 7 end-of-service/device refresh cycle.
This year’s conference will be centered around the ProAV category due in large part to D&H’s new business unit in this field. Large-scale digital displays will welcome guests at registration to demonstrate the various ways these messaging techniques can be used. The booths throughout the event will spotlight the K-12 opportunity, cloud solutions, digital signage, plus support offerings like the D&H Specialists and Partner Services teams. There will also be a closed-door ProAV roundtable during the event to gain valuable feedback from VARs and MSPs in the industry that have been early adopters of the application technology.
“Our customers have told us that the strongest benefit of our Technology Conferences is the outstanding, first-hand trainings that the events deliver,” said Jennifer Walcott, vice president of marketing at D&H Distributing. “We’re continuing to focus on that value, enhancing our seminar format and adding more specialized customer engagement opportunities. The events continue to grow in scope and content, reaching a greater breadth of D&H partners and showing an increased accommodation for their schedules. The more accessible we make it for them to take in this level of market insight, the more we all benefit as they leverage this new knowledge to grow their practices.”
In order to better accommodate attendees’ hectic schedules and prioritize the keynote address, D&H now offers two different opportunities to visit the exhibit floor. The first is an early session from 10:30 a.m. – noon, and a later session from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
D&H customers can gain access to the event with a waived registration fee by visiting dandh.com/westcoast or by contacting their representatives.
