Digital Signage Expo Called a Success
Digital Signage Expo 2009, co-located with Interactive Technology Expo and the Out-of-Home Network show, was proclaimed “successful” by retailers in attendance, according to event organizers. The conference and trade show, which ran last month, drew just over 3,000 attendees, down from last year's 3,500, and 188 exhibitors, a record number. The trade show floor was 19 percent larger than 2008, with over 58,000 net sf of exhibitions.
“With so many opportunities to reach customers through our retail environment, I found DSE invaluable in learning the strategy behind customer engagement. The conference's structure was outstanding. No member of our industry should miss this event,” said Paul Flanigan, In-Store Video Network Producer, Best Buy.
Chris Gibbs, President of Exponation, LLC, which produces Digital Signage Expo and its co-located shows said, “The increased number of exhibitors and our expanded conference program was a big draw for serious attendees. We hosted over 130 industry experts who presented more conference seminars, workshops and theater presentations than ever before. We understand that more and more people come to Digital Signage Expo to learn and to do business at the show.”
