Directed has chosen Clarissa Zulick to serve as the its Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. In the role, Zulick will oversee all aspects of Directed’s finance and human resource functions. She will sit on the Executive Staff for the connected car and automotive electronics aftermarket leader, reporting directly to CEO Bob Struble.
“Clarissa came to Directed on an interim basis in June and her efforts and performance made it an easy decision to make her a permanent employee,” said Struble. “She was instrumental in our recent effort to spin Directed out of our parent holding company and set us up as a standalone, and has excelled in managing our financial and HR functions.”
Zulick’s career history has adequately prepared her to step into this role with Directed. She actually held the CFO title in her two most recent positions with plant-based superfood company, Mamma Chia and leading independent computer hardware distributor, Arbitech, where she was both the COO and CFO. She also established herself as a leader within Jenny Craig, Sunrise Medical, Medifast, Hollywood Tans.
As an operator, Zulick has driven significant value creation across several business, leading high level strategy and building rapport. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Math Applied Science at UCLA and went on to earn her MBA from Yale just two years later. Zulick will be based out of Directed’s Vista, California office.
