DISH Launches dishNET Broadband
DISH is calling its expanded high-speed Internet service dishNET and will launch it nationwide October 1. Service and next-day installation starts at $39.99 a month. Consumers can receive a $10 monthly discount when bundled with DISH's most TV programming packages.
Aimed at rural residents in underserved markets, dishNET offers 4G-level speeds that the company says are about 50 percent faster than typical broadband connections in found in most American homes.
DISH CEO Joseph Clayton plans to unveil dishNET Thursday at the flagship Cowboy Maloney's Electric City retail store in Jackson, Miss.
