DISH Launches New Smart Phone Repair Service for All Consumers
Whether you’re a DISH Network subscriber or not, the company announced a new service this week that will have broad appeal to satellite and cable television subscribers alike. The one thing we all have in common is the smartphone (or smartphones) in our pocket. And with roughly half of those smartphones featuring shattered, finger-cutting screens, DISH has decided to do something about it.
So, the company has launched a nationwide fleet of professional technicians who are capable of reaching any U.S. home or business to repair iPhones for consumers around the U.S., whether or not they are DISH customers.
Available today, the “Smart Phone Repair” service from DISH delivers “a technician directly to a customer’s door,” DISH explained. The service will allow for cracked screen and battery replacements on Apple’s iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus, and in the coming months DISH plans to extend the service to include additional devices and smartphone accessories.
